The Guardians of Childhood, A Ballet

Throughout my final year of study at The Northern School of Art, I have been designing and creating three costumes from William Joyce’s children’s novel series; The Guardians of Childhood, most commonly recognised from the DreamWorks animation Rise of the Guardians. The character’s I have been designing for include E.Aster Bunnymund (the Easter Bunny), Toothiana (the Tooth Fairy), and Sandy (the Sandman). However, I will be using the book series to create a ballet production interpretation.
